Restoration

Pastor Bates takes Luke 15, the “lost and found chapter,” as his main text for a stirring message designed to reveal the very “heartbeat of God,” to show that He “is not willing that any should perish,” but that everyone should come to faith. It is the will of God that the lost be found, and so it was that in Luke 15, the lost sheep is found, the missing coin is recovered, and the prodigal son comes home. God restores the lost throughout Scripture. Just as He brings Onesimus, the slave, to full fellowship, God “restores, renews and revives” today. Through the power of fervent intercessory prayer, loved ones can be brought to salvation, however far they have drifted away from God and the path of Holiness. Souls will be won, and the broken restored if we remain yielded and diligently pray that God’s will be done in the lives of those we hold dear.
